A fundraising walk in memory of late Travel Counsellor Gill Peach raised more than £2,500 for Reuben’s Retreat.
Travel Counsellors, together with colleagues, friends and families, joined together to walk over 16km around the grounds of Reuben’s Retreat in Glossop paying tribute to Gill.
Gill, a Travel Counsellor since 1997, was a strong supporter of Reuben’s Retreat and close friend of founder Nicola Graham and husband Michael.
Travel Counsellors has been supporting Reuben’s Retreat since it was founded and was named as its official charity partner four years ago, raising nearly £250,000 in this time.
The company organised the special walk for Reuben Retreat’s 10th anniversary with a focus on the numbers ’10’ to celebrate the charity’s milestone, and ’16’ to commemorate Gill Peach’s branch number.
This is also why the fundraising walk on the International Day of Charity started at 10.16am prompt.
